Hi @buildwps,
Thanks for your reply.
I am not sure it is entirely correct that it has to do with image linking to a pda link because the image is visible on a desktop browser even when I am not logged in. It is on mobile devices where the images are not visible. Additionally, it isn’t just the site logo. As you will see on the link attached in my first message, there is a banner at the top of the page which is visible on a desktop browser but not on mobile devices.
Also, I am not sure how it is possible that the site logo is displaying a pda image. The site was setup over a year ago and I’ve only recently installed the PDA plugin. Furthermore, the PDA plugin has been working without any issues for a couple of months now. Something is fishy somewhere or something corrupted somewhere (which I now can’t seem to fix) after updating the PDA plugin.
The only plugins I updated in the last couple of days is PDA, Elementor and Elementor Pro – and I have already liaised with Elementor’s support team. After consulting Siteground, they have stated it is an issue with the PDA plugin redirecting to some 404 error.
Regards.
P.S. I should add that I created a staging site (staging6.siliceoussolutions.com) to test to see if any of the plugins was causing the issue. You will note that on the staging site, the issue doesn’t exist because Siteground blocks custom paths (like the one the PDA plugin uses) and the images are visible on mobile devices on the staging site.
I could just disable the plugin but that kind of defeats the purpose of wanting to have secure images on the website. I will have to use a different plugin if this can’t be resolved.
