    I was advised by sys admins to disable plugin, their analysis showed plugin was root cause of heavy server loads and failure of some services and delays in others. I’m wondering if having Wordfence and Cleantalk enable on same site could cause this, I hadn’t disabled Wordfence?

    Hello,

    Could you try to disable ‘Use AJAX for JavaScript check’ option here:

    WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Antispam by Cleantalk -> Advanced settings
