    Hi there!

We use this plugin on several websites and love it! It does exactly what it needs to do in a quick and easy way.

However, we just noticed that in Google Chrome, it appears that it is causing a warning about plugins being blocked on websites where we have it active. It’s the message, “Plugins were blocked on this page.” in the top right of the URL bar.

We are not sure if this is a new issue or not, but we are 100% positive that this plugin is what is causing that warning to appear as we disabled all other plugins and it was still there. The only time when it disappeared was when we disabled this plugin, and we tried that several times turning it on and off to be sure.

Is there anything you can do in an update to fix that?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Glad to help. First understand that the only thing this plugin does is add some text to the head section or footer of your web pages. So there is nothing at all that would cause any issue. I am running this plugin on many sites, and all of them continue to work great with no similar issues. Just to make 100% sure, I re-installed the plugin again on a test site and it was fine.. so I am unable to replicate the issue you describe (running latest Chrome on Mac).

I would recommend any of the following:

    – troubleshoot all existing plugins by temporarily disabling them and trying again; it could be that there is a conflict that involves two or more plugins.

    – try switching to one of the default themes and disabling all other plugins to see if the issue is with your current theme.

    – set up a quick 5-minute install of WordPress and leave everything at the default settings, then try the plugin again to verify there is no issue.

Hopefully one of those will help you determine the source of the conflict, let me know if I can provide any further infos, glad to help.
