• I did start to experiment with using WooCommerce but was very alarmed when it white screen my site after an update. I am using php 5.5 and only managed to get the site back after I deleted the WooCommerce plug-in. For an e-commerce plug in to be trusted, it has to be compatible with the current version of php, after this experience I wouldn’t be reluctant to trust WooCommerce again.

Without looking into the cause of the ‘white screen’ how can you be sure its PHP 5.5?

We run unit tests which test up to PHP 5.5 so it won’t be that https://travis-ci.org/woothemes/woocommerce

I think it’s much more likely you either had:

    a) a compatibility issue with something else installed
    b) an issue with the WP MEMORY LIMIT

Check your server error logs, or enable WP_DEBUG to find out what it was.

Did you ever work this out – would like to resolve this for you so you can maybe consider updating your review ?? Let me know! As I said, we test using Travis to ensure compatibility with PHP 5.2 +

I had the white blank screen, it was a Page Transition setting in Gantry, not sure if that fits your issue. As soon as I turned it off the shop appeared again.

the links were all there, just graphics wouldn’t display.
