    Hi there,
I’ve noticed in GTMetrix that if I have your plugin active the page URL is loaded twice?

So when I check the ‘Waterfall’ I see my page URL ‘/’ first, and then again about half way down the list of requests.

With PickPlugins Product Slider for WooCommerce deactivated the page URL only loads once at the start of the ‘Waterfall’.

    Any idea what’s causing this?

    Thanks for your help!

    Kind regards,
    JP

    Hi @pickplugins
Thank you for looking to this for me ??

Here’s a screenshot with PickPlugins Product Slider for WooCommerce active, only showing the HTML loads in the GTMetrix Waterfall:

And with PickPlugins Product Slider for WooCommerce deactivated:

    Hi @pickplugins
I’ve been doing a little research and it seems it may be CDN / cache thing.
The second one gives a status of 304 which I believe means ‘304 Not Modified’ as detailed here: https://www.keycdn.com/support/304-not-modified

I guess it’s checking if the slider has changed, seeing it hasn’t and so loading the cached version.

Marked as resolved as I don’t actually think this is a plugin issue.

Thanks again for your help though, very much appreciated ??

    Cheers,
    JP
