Causes hidden error that breaks Code Editor

  • A new Theme Editor and Plugin Editor feature creates a sandbox for php edits. This feature detects errors and will rollback changes to prevent breaking a site.

    There is something in your plugin that is causing the request to timeout, forcing the sandbox to revert any changes made.

    Tested with Twentyfifteen, Woocommerce, and this plugin.

    Other plugins that have this problem have been related to CRON, but that might not be the cause here.

    1. Install WP
    2. Active Twentyfifteen Theme
    3. Install and activate WooCommerce
    4. Install and activate this plugin
    5. Attempt to edit any theme or plugin files via the code editor
    6. Wait until the error returns.

    I haven’t tested it since 3 months ago, but those were the steps.
