Caused problems

  • Seems like a good tool with a massive number of options, maybe too many – over complex.

    This was bundled with a Astra theme installed on a customer website. After making the first set of updates the new webpages appears as expected when I tested. A second round of updates just would not appear on the live view (via a Chrome or Safari)… plus the home pages I had been edited started to lose elements of the page. I cleared my browser caches many times but nothing changed.

    After a frustrating couple of hours I simply disabled the plugin and now everything is working perfectly.

    In short, whilst this plugin has a lot to offer it also disrupted my workflow.

    Going to leave is disabled.

    Sometimes simple is more efficient.

    I can assure you Astra doesn’t have any known issue like this. The customizer should work seamlessly without any trouble. However, I understand you somehow encountered such an unexpected issue. Typically, a conflict with another third-party plugin may cause this type of issue.

    Did you have a chance to get in touch with our support team? I’m not sure what exactly caused the problem on your site, but maybe our tech support team have a solution for you to get your site back on track.

    It would be great if you could create a support request here so that we go deep into the root cause of the problem and provide you solution accordingly.
