    Hello,

I’ve tested out WP Super Cache, W3 Cache, WP Rocket and now Zencache. Seeing the CPU, Zencache has slowest performance among all the cache plugin.

My blog has around 9000 posts and I choose max age is 9 hours. The server has 32CPU but the load on server is always around 22. When I publish new post the server overloaded and it take a long time to recover.

Most setting is default. Is there anything you would recommend?

    Thanks.

@longnha We have tens of thousands of users running ZenCache and we’ve tested ZenCache with tens of thousands of posts; never have we heard of any issues with CPU load like what you’re describing.

I recommend reviewing the server processes and investigating what else on your server might be contributing to this issue. You may want to install a process monitoring program on your server to see what’s happening when the CPU load goes up.

Also, note that if you have 32 CPUs and your load is 22, that means you’re only utilizing 68% of your available CPU power–32% of your CPU processing power is just idle (a load of 32 on system with 32 CPUs would be 100% CPU utilization; see Understanding Load Averages).
