In the widget configuration there is this text: “(use ‘catlink’ on the title field if you want the title of this widget to be a link to the category)”
This doesn’t work as it just displays the word catlink. catname, however works correctly. If I put catname in the title field of the widget configuration, it will display the category name.

That’s strange, I cannot seem to be able to replicate this issue. It works fine when I test it.

Are you testing it in the widget? The shortcode works fine.

Yes, I put catlink in the title field of the widget and it worked. Are there any more details to it? Does the issue occur on every page or only some pages?

Hmm, I am seeing different behavior than before. Now when I put in catlink, it’s showing a blank. It’s possible that before I had a hidden space after “catlink” so it printed the word catlink in the title.

As for now, why it’s showing up as blank, it’s only blank if I choose “Current category” for the category. It works just as expected if I choose a category. “catname” still works right if I choose “Current category”.

Ok, thanks, I was able to replicate your issue.

I have already written a fix for this and will send it to Fernando, but would be nice if you could test it and confirm everything is working as it should on your side. You can find my updated version of the plugin here

Yes, I tested your version and it’s indeed working. Thanks!
