Category Widget – display 'Continue Reading' link after excerpt

Hi, for the widget I set it to 50 characters to display from the excerpt.. but instead of ending with ‘..’, is it possible for a link to appear that says Continue Reading per post, rather than one final link that links to all categories posts?
