Category URL displays front page instead of posts

    Hi.
    At the bottom of my front page, right widget area is my list of categories.
    Initially clicking on one of them displayed a pure white blank page. But deleting the Yoast plugin helped fix it – to a point.
    Clicking on a category now displays the front/home page. Not my list of posts as it should.
    I have tested by disabling all plugins, this didn’t change anything.
    I have reset Permalinks (saving twice).
    Any ideas welcome.

  • I can’t find any category list in the bottom right of your page. I clicked on Blog and it showed posts. Am I missing something?

    Hi Joy (and any others).
    Issue resolved.
    It seems Yoast may have been causing Categories to appear blank. Deleted this plugin.
    But there was still an issue in that my Post Page did not show my posts.
    This was fixed when I realised I had Category called Blog Posts and a posts page called Blog Posts. I changed the Category name and that fixed it.
