Category Updates Just Don’t Work

  • In the last 3 days or so, we’ve been able to make any edits to product categories in our WP hosted site (running WooCommerce). We can add product categories without any issue AND make edits to product categories. BUT, when it comes to clicking the ‘update’ button on a category (to update it)…the button just does nothing. It is almost like there is no ability to update a category, or the function is broken…

  • Have you tried to switching to different themes? Tried turning off other plugins beside Woocommerce?
    Javascript bug probably the cause for not being able to update the category. Check chrome developer tools to find any javascript error on console tab.
