Category to Pages WUD 2.2.2

Latest update breaks “List category posts” plug-in. Have had to restore web site to previous version.

Hello,
In case of a issue, you do not have to restore the website.
Renaming a plugin is enough to disable it.
I will check what is going wrong and let you know the result.

I’ve checked here and updated my plugin again, without errors.
Even when the plugin ‘List category posts’ is installed, no errors.

Can you give me next values:
1 From which version ‘Category to pages’ to the latest version 2.2.2 you have updated?
2 What is the WP version you have?
3 can you send me a screenshot from the ‘Category to pages’ settings page?

I had upgraded from 2.2.0 to 2.2.1 when the problem appeared. Same issue with 2.2.3. and 2.2.3 which I tried this morning.

Curiously downgrading back to 2.2.0 on another site failed to cure the problem. The following page is meant to show all the pages in category “author”. https://explore.scimednet.org/index.php/authors/ The page content reads “[catlist name=”author” orderby=title order=asc numberposts=100 pagination=yes]”. This worked until yesterday.

Do you have a copy of the version of prior to 2.0.0 which I could experiment with please as this is a major problem for me since this is a transactional site and doing a restore will cause database synch issues.

I am using Bigsnag to trap errors and it is showing nothing.

Dear Danny

I have solved the problem with 2.2.0. When I downgraded the plug-in the settings were cleared. I have now resinstated the settings in 2.2.0 and the plus-in works.

I will now do another upgrade on a non-critical site to 2.2.3 and see if that is the problem there do.

Thank you very much for this information, I really appreciate this!
No matter what i do : install 2.2.0 or 2.2.3, the result is for me the same:
“[catlist name=”author” orderby=title order=asc numberposts=100 pagination=yes]” , is working anyway …
So, i suppose that some other plugin together with my plugin is causing this error.
Can you return me the plugins you have installed on your test site?
To verify or it’s correct what i’m thinking do next on your test site:
Disable all plugins except: List category posts and my plugin.
REFRESH the content page (press: [Shift] + [f5] ) and see or the error is gone.
