Category to category large number of posts

  • Hi,

    I have magazine with categories over 15000 posts per category.
    Some of those i want to “merge” but i keep on getting connection timeout.
    I have full control over my wordpress / php / server settings, even tried with 12 GB ram assigned to the account , but nothing…

    Is there any other way/trick to do that
