Category Title Rewriter Returns Duplicate Title

  • Hey guys,

    Have recently created an additional group of slugs called ‘Retailers’ in addition to Tags and Categories.

    Just so happened that some of the Tags and Retailers shared the same names which automatically aligned both to the same ID.

    What I am finding now is, I cannot alter the Tag Title of a Tag without altering the Retailer. Same goes the other way around. Change one, the other changes too.

    Just wondering if I need to recreate the 100+ retailer tags with new names/slugs or is there a fix to this? I’ve attached a screen shot which may explain what I mean.

    You may wish to use the conflict resolution option and set it to posts in the SEO Ultimate > Misc. Module to see if this resolves the overlapping slugs for your tags. Or, even consider rewriting the names of the tags manually or in mass in the title tag rewriter > tags > tab.

    Let me know if either resolves the issue.
