    Hi Again,

Sorry this should be the last question!

    When viewing /category/page-here/

The footer widgets seem to move out of line until you resize the window slightly and then the Masonry layout thing kicks in.

    e.g. https://prelovedbridal.online/category/bridesmaids-dresses/

I don’t know if there’s a way to disable masonry on the footer is there?
    Thanks in advance,

    Martin

  • Hi Martin,

This was fixed in theme version 1.4.8. Please update your theme. Also, if you are making any changes to the theme core files I strongly suggest using a child theme instead as otherwise you loose your changes once you update the theme. https://www.webmandesign.eu/manual/auberge/#child-theme

    Hi Oliver,

We have for speed been amending the theme, but mostly just the template files. I have been using the in-built CSS Editor to make custom layout changes.

Do you know offhand which file(s) contained the fix, in case I need to do a piecemeal patch?
    Thank you for replying,
    Kind regards,

    Hi there,

I created the child theme from the latest version but I still have exactly the same issue as above (on the same URL).

Are you able to assist with where the code problem was so I can do a manual patch?

    Thanks,

    Martin

I have found a ‘fix’ – by disabling the ‘infinite scrolling’ option within Jetpack it works. Not an ideal solution but at least it is *a* solution.

The downside is now that the home page doesn’t show the products :-/

Thanks for a great theme by the way, just had a few teething issues,
    Thanks,

    Martin

    Hi Martin,

Please don’t create duplicates here as it is hard to manage. We’ve discussed the issue at https://support.webmandesign.eu/forums/topic/footer-widgets-masonry-trigger/
