Category & Tag Linking Not Working

Thank you for this info @mrhipster. We already submitted a new version but we are still waiting for the approval. For now we can fix this by editing the archive.php file, on line 67 up to 69, replace that line of codes with this, <?php while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>

Great, thanks. That fixed the tag linking, but the categorization still doesn’t work. Also noticed that search has the same issue, as the results set (i.e.: /?s=searchword) doesn’t pick up and filter the resulting content for the search term. Presumably all of this will be cleaned up in the next update. I’ll give it another go when it’s approved. Thanks!

Try resetting your permalink settings if that solves the problem.

No dice, unfortunately. It’ll pull the right featured image into the header (the latest featured image from the latest post associated with the category), but resetting the permalink settings didn’t fix the category or search issue…

For the search results page, edit the search.php file, on line 33 up to 35, replace that line of codes with this, <?php while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>. You can check the demo site that it is now working. here are the links.

That worked for search. And the first change for tags worked. Last thing is category, which is still not working.
