Hi. I am having problems with adding sub menu items. I have added my product categories and if I leave them as top level menu items, they work fine. However when I make them sub menu items under my Shop tab, they stop linking to the remnant pages. Can you help please? Thanks.

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Ruby theme.

Could you please share me the screenshot of your menu from the admin area?

For screenshots, you can simply provide a link to an image through Google Drive, Dropbox, screencast.com, https://imgur.com/ or other image service. ??

This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.

I am having the same issue with main menu sub-items that are linked to categories – which a lot of mine are.

They used to work fine but at the moment none of them appear to be. I get a page that says:
    ‘NOTHING FOUND
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.’

    …never seen that before.

I’ve tried deleting the menu items and re-adding them, but to no avail.

    Site is https://the-golden-fleece.co.uk/
and a typical menu item linked to a category is:

I’m using a child theme built onto twentyseventeen.

Oddly, the category menu item linked to posts does work, it’s the ones that link to pages that do not.

    Anyone have any ideas?

UPDATE: I use a plugin called ‘ReOrder Post Within Categories’. I found that when I changed the order of pages within a category, the category menu items work again!
Not sure why, but it seems to have resolved the issue.

@goldenfleece This topic is only related to Ruby theme and not twentyseventeen theme that you are using.

If you require further assistance then, as per the?Forum Welcome, you should post your own topic.
