Category Stock Management for printing website

I have an online store that sells custom printed mugs, with each mug print listed as a product on my site. Since WooCommerce can only track stock at the product level, there’s no way to keep track of the total number of blank mugs you have in stock between each of my products.
My stock levels would quickly go out of sync and my customers would be able to purchase 10 different prints even if you only have one mug left in stock!
