For some URLs TranslatePress doesn’t use the translated category slug. Instead it shows it in the original language. There is a translation for this category and it is even used in some URLs. But then for other articles in the same category, its not translated.

For example, I have these two articles, both belong to the same category (in German “heiltees”, in the translation “healing-teas”)
For this one, Translate press automatically uses the correctly translated category in the URL:
    https://yourteagarden.com/en/healing-teas/cistus-tea-benefits/
Another article, translate press uses the german slug for the category:
    https://yourteagarden.com/en/heiltees/is-cistus-tea-prohibited/

Even if I try to replace “heiltees” in the url with “healing-teas”, I will be forwarded to the wrong adress again.
This is so annoying, cause I can’t index my pages like that. I reported this almost 3 month ago to the support, as a paying Premium user! I was promised to get a fix 1,5 month ago… still didn’t happen and the support is ignoring my mails.

Please, does anyone know a fix or a workaround for this?
    Thanks in advance

    Tobias

  • Wie kann ich TranslatePress-Multilingual Version 2.8.2 auf die Version 3.1.0 oder h?her erh?hen?

    Hello there,

Unfortunately you are experiencing this behavior with TranslatePress because of how we handle slug translation and permalinks.

At the moment our team has been working for quite some time on a refactoring on this features that do not work well with your setup. You will be hearing back from us as soon as there is any development in this direction.

We thank you for your patience!
