Category sitemap

  • Hi,

    after updated wordpress, i reactived all the plugins but I can’t find the category sitemap, it seems that the plugin doesn’t create that.

    Second question: Obviously not being included in google news, it is normal that the sitemap gives me an error in google search, right?

    I checked your /sitemap.xml index and it is there, the last one. Maybe browser cache?

    The news sitemap will show an error in Search Console in this case. You can simply remove it from you search console, or if you have applied for inclusion just wait for that to happen ??

    For google news, I’ve been waiting for 3 months….

    Yeah I heard more people complaining about very long waits. I can only recommend to make sure your publication in the Publisher Center is accurate and has meaningful Sections and Labels. Also, in your regular Search Console, make sure to specify Italy as your primary target audience.
