Category shortcodes help

Hello,

i have a websites with woo commerce and different product categories.
Ito my website pages where i describe my services, i want to add the woo commerce category shortcode to display a specific category.
The problem is: if i use this shortcode [product_category category="category-slug" per_page="12" columns="4" orderby="date" order="desc"]

it will show me products directly, but i want to see just subcategories, and then if i click one of them go to products.

what should i do?

In woocommerce settings i set to display “subcategories” in the category pages, and in the shop works great, but not working with that shortcode.
