    Hi,

    Will I be able to allow the search to only index and search through category? Lets say when poeple are searching for Japan, it will only appear the product under Japan and not everything else that have “Japan” word in the name or description.

    Also, can I allow the search to appear it’s subcategory? Like searching for Japan will appear Tokyo(4), Osaka(5).

    Finally, I was wondering if this is compatible with WPML where I can allow my user to search in secondary language and it will appear the same product search?

    You can achieve this by configuring the search form as shown in the below screenshot.

    Currently, the Ivory Search plugin does not provide this functionality but I will consider implementing it in the future version of the plugin.

    In the meantime, you can achieve this by developing a custom code.

    If you are not a developer, you can consider hiring a developer to develop it. You can hire a developer from any freelance site or WordPress agency.

    The plugin is compatible with WPML and searches content in the currently set language on the website.
