Category pingback

  • I?′m using wordpress 1.5 strayhorn and i?′m trying to understand the new pingback function (if it is there, i?′m a little confused ?? ), is there a possibility to specify pingback to updatingservices by category? Meaning that i can enter a special pingback URL for each category and when i send a post in that category it automatically update the entered URL. But not the posts i send in other categories. Is that possible and if, what do i do to enable that? Hoping for an answer.

    Short answer, no.

    You could do it, but it would take some custom code.
