• This is my first install of WooCommerce and my first attempt at a themed WordPress site.

After installing woocommerce I found my way to Categories and began creating Categories and Subcategories.

I then created Pages the traditional way through WordPress Pages beneath the Dashboard tab. At the time I logically named the traditional Pages after the Categories and Subcategories I created in woocommerce believing that I’d add these to their specific page at some point.

When I created the site’s menu I did so by dragging over the WordPress Pages that I created. However, I came to discover that the URLs actually point to the woocommerce Categories I created.

I confirmed that I did not select then any Categories into my menu; WordPress Pages only.

Currently I can’t find in WooCommerce documentation how it and WordPress interact by default. Can someone please explain why my URLs default to the Categories of woocommerce instead of the Pages I created?

    Thank you.

    AJ
