Category pages and Tag pages URL

    Hi, I have 2 main issues with TranslatePress + SEO Addon.
    Main language : French.
    Translated : English (US)

    #1. CATEGORY and TAG slugs translation

    If translated, Category and Tag pages URLs send 404 Error…
    ie :
    OK -> https://mysite.fr/nom-francais/
    OK -> https://mysite.fr/en/nom-francais/
    404 -> https://mysite.fr/en/french-name/

    My guess : it is because I’ve chosen to take off /category/ and /tag/ in these taxonomy slugs (option “No Category” with RankMath plugin + No-Tag-Base plugin).

    Very annoying if you have selected “automatic slug translation” in TranslatePress SEO Addon : all your Categories and Tags become 404… To fix this, I had to uncheck the option, save the settings, and then delete manually one by one all the category and slug automatic translations…

    2. No translated post slugs listed in the SITE MAP

    My posts with a translated slug (human reviewed or automatic) are not listed with their translated slug in the site map (I’ve checked the option to get the translated slug in the sitemap). BUT my pages are correctly listed in the site map with their translated slug.

    ie :
    FR and EN post slugs in the site map are like this :
    https://mysite.fr/mon-article-YYYYMMDD/
    https://mysite.fr/en/mon-article-YYYYMMDD/
    instead of :
    https://mysite.fr/mon-article-YYYYMMDD/
    https://mysite.fr/en/my-post-YYYYMMDD/

    FR and EN page slugs in the site map are OK, like this :
    https://mysite.fr/ma-belle-page/
    https://mysite.fr/en/my-nice-page/

    My guess : it’s because my settings for the posts’ pretty permalinks is including numbers from the publication date (year/month/day), like this :
    https://mysite.fr/mon-article-YYYYMMDD/
    It seems that TranslatePress cannot handle the translated post slugs in the sitemap if the date is added and/or customized in the permalinks.

    As suggested in the help documentation, I tried to refresh the permalink by clicking on the “Save” button in the Permalinks tab, to no avail.

    Can you help?? Any hint?? Is there a trick I could implement for issue #1 or #2?? Thank you.

    But I posted it here anyway, because I thought describing these issues might be of interest to other people.

    PS. I see that the tag “resolved” has been added to this thread, but it is not resolved at all. The subject should be instead considered as “closed”, I guess, at least on this public page…
