    Hi Team,

    I have created a template file for category pages. The category pages display a list of posts belonging to the category. I have added the shortcode for social share in the template. The icons are displayed properly on the category pages but when I click on the icons, for e.g. I click on the Facebook icon, on the share page it shows the link and title of the first post on the category page instead of the category page itself.

    Can you please let me know what can be the issue here?

    Hi,

    It depends on how and where you have added the shortcode. Can you post a screenshot showing where you have added the shortcode in the template.

    Hi,
    If you check the source of the page I have shared, there is a div with ID blog-social-share. I have added shortcode <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[Sassy_Social_Share]’) ?> in the div.

    If you want the individual web page in the list of the posts to be shared on click of the social share icons, you need to add the shortcode in the loop which is printing the posts at the category page. Right now the shortcode you have added is rendering the icons in the top-right corner.

    I want the category page to be shared. Where should I place the shortcode so that the category page URL will be shared?
