Category Page Not Working

Ok…..
Here’s my problem…..

I’m using Safari….

I misspelled a catergory name….

I have beeen trying all night to use Edit Link Catergory but it will NOT take the corrected word/title….nor will it take the slug….

I enter the correction …click on update and after the click goes to the host …I get a ‘no update message’….

wp 3.6.1
