Category Page not showing correctly

  • I want to optimize my category pages, but no formatting (or images) are coming through. I want to do something like what’s mentioned in this WPMUDev tutorial on category pages, but the instruction in that site give me errors. In any case, though there is a WYSIWYG editor available to me, nothing works. Here’s a screen capture (using awesome screenshot) of what my site looks like.

  • Hey,
    The category template description box is only for text. It’s set up in this theme to strip html because it’s added below the title as a kind of subtitle.

    You can either edit the template using a child theme. Thats in the files templates/page-header.php

    Or you could use a page and with the blog template select to show only one category. That would give you the page content to add whatever you like.
