Category page not displaying events

    Have you tried to temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

    Hi Angelo,

    I deactivated plug-ins and did not see any improvement. When I activated the default theme, though, I saw the events appear on the category page, so it appears that the theme (which is AVADA) is causing the issues.

    All I want are two pages that display the themes in a certain category. What is the best way to troubleshoot this? I can’t change the theme that is being used.

    This sounds like your theme doesn’t support categories for custom post types. If you add tags to the events, are you able to see the events listed on the tag pages?

    No, I can’t see the events with tags either. There should be two events here but there aren’t any.

    since this works on wp default theme; have you tried to reach in to your theme provider since they may have a quick fixed or suggestion about this?
