Category page is reset when Ajax is turned on

hi im using kadence theme on my site. I have set the category layout to be a 2 column for products. Ajax is turned on the woof filter.
Now when I make selections in the filter, the category page layout changes to 4 columns grid. When I reload the shop page, it changes back to 2 column grid.

Please help with this.
