Category page 2 errors

    When I click a category page (for example ./category/seniors), it shows me a wrong title – not a page title, but the whole window title. It shows
    <title>%%title%% | …</title>

    Then when I am not signed in (in that case it is ok) it shows me a PHP error in <div class=”comments-area” id=”comments”><h2 class=”comments-title”>

    How can I disable comments area on category pages and fix the page title?

    Under the warning it showed one comment, the initial one (by WP). When I deleted it (and tried to write another comment) no more warning is shown.

    This sounds like an issue with your theme. Does it happen if you test with the default WordPress theme?

    Yes, the same result (not working).

    Do you have a plugin running that rewrites or changes page titles? The %%title%% tag you mentioned isn’t a WordPress or Events Manager thing.

    You can disable comments in event categories pages by going to Events > Settings > Pages > Event Categories and setting a template under Categories page that doesn’t use comments.

    Maybe it’s theme thing? Do you see it if you switch to the default WordPress theme?

    this works for me, you can also try to deactivate other plugins and see if one of those plugins causes conflict.

    Now I found it. It is “WordPress SEO” plugin that makes the error.
