Category option is useless on current version.

    I added categories to every web stories for easy navigation for specific category. But this plugin not set any category in the slug and even 0 web stories is currently showing in category page (i have 5 stories for Movie & TV category.

    Category url: example.com/web_story_category/movies-tv/

    it should be: example.com/web-stories/movies-tv/

    My expectations for Web story url as per post structure. (example.com/web-stories/movies-tv/story-title-here/)

    But currently example.com/web-stories/story-title-here/

    Heya, thanks for your inquiry regarding the categories support.

    We originally added this support to make it easier for creators and publishers to organize their content. Then, we added support for filtering stories by category & tag in the Web Stories block, which is very useful.

    Not everybody would want support for category archives or have the category be part of the URL. Plus, there are already many WordPress plugins out there that allow you to achieve this. So we decided not to reinvent the wheel.

    I recommend trying a plugin like Custom Post Type Permalinks or Permalink Manager to set example.com/web-stories/movies-tv/story-title-here/ permalinks.
