Category not showing on shop page

    Hello,

    I wanted to hide a category in the past by hiding all its products, but now I want the category visible again. I am beginning to unhide the products but the category still doesn’t show. I have cleared the browser cache and checked in an incognito window. The category is “Personal care” and there are 50 products associated with it. Some of the products are visible in shop and search results and many are hidden. Can you please help me troubleshoot this?

    I have check similar threads but they don’t solve this problem for me.

    I understand you hid a category – ‘Personal Care’, before and now, you’ve followed steps to have the category visible, but the category is till not showing in your store.

    To make your ‘Personal care’ category visible again, you need to ensure that all products within this category are set to be visible in both the Catalog and search results.

    Here’s how to do this:

    1. Go to your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Navigate to Products > All Products.
    3. Filter the products by the “Personal care” category.
    4. For each product, click on ‘Quick Edit’.
    5. In the ‘visibility’ section under Product Data, select ‘Catalog & search’.
    6. Click on ‘Update’ to save your changes.

    Repeat these steps for all products in the “Personal care” category.

    If you’re still experiencing issues after following these steps, please share with us the steps you followed to have the products and category hidden.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply. I followed your suggestion and I made each product in that category visible in “Catalog and search”. The category still isn’t visible, unfortunately. I don’t remember doing anything to hide the category except hiding every product. Now that these products are ‘unhidden’ all the thumbnails in my store are broken. No product images from the store are rendering but I do see them in the media library. Please help.

    The category is showing, but not all of the thumbnails. I marked this as resolved but it obviously still isn’t.

    Please head to WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Regenerate shop thumbnails, and click the Regenerate button next to it.

    I managed to visit your store and could see the Personal Care category and all thumbnails were correctly displayed from my end. Here’s a screenshot for reference:

    Try viewing the store from a different browser or a private/incognito tab to see if the issue persists.
