• Hi, I added a form and I have it set to go to a portfolio category. I created a dropdown with the taxonomy that lets the user select the “status”, I also set up other entries that have “custom field names” which were previously set. I’m not sure if i’m doing something wrong but when i go to preview the post, nothing is getting set on the post. In other words, It’s not setting the taxonomies or custom fields. The only thing it seems to be picking up is that it is a portfolio category.

    Any ideas?

Just tested with a Drop Down on my end and it worked without issue. Make sure the taxonomy is associated with the post type you are creating. And also check for a theme or plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all other plugins except Gravity Forms and GF Custom Post Types and setting your theme to a default WordPress theme.

Hi, Sorry i might not have been clear. Yes it populates the dropdown. But when i go and try to create a post through the form, then i go and view that post, none of the taxonomies are set. They get sent to me in the email but on the page itself they are not.

    Example:
Custom post type is Portfolio, the taxonomy is Adoptable.
The post is set as Portfolio, but Adoptable is not set when i got and look at “edit post” or when I go and look at the post itself. None of the Taxonomies are except the custom fields.

    Thank you
