    Great product and My product synch worked fine except that the category column is completely blank though.- a few products didn’t make it but I’ll investigate those. I assumed it would pull the category assigned to the product. Thanks

  • In my installation the category is not transferred either. However, I need this field for business evaluations.

    Thank you for reaching out to us. Currently, the synchronization of Zettle does not have the ability to transfer the category. We are working on releasing new functionalities for the sync, but for now, you can only sync the product, stock (2-ways), and prices via the sync.
    We already have this request in our list for new features, but since it is not affecting all users of the plugin, it does not have the highest priority. I will check and see if we can get some more weight on this feature with our developers.

    Thanks so much, looking forward to that and more! BTW, can I just say the code for this plugin is really well done and highly readable. As an architect, I see a lot of crazy stuff in code reviews and this plugin is super clean.

    Hi there, has this been resolved now? I ask as I have 6 categories, all my products imported successfully bu my only 3 categories were included and all products were placed in the uncategorised category. I started to manually move the items to the categories that did populate and was informed that any changes made in Zettle would be overwritten by woocommerce. I then attempted to make the changes in the woocommerce app which shows all of the categories correctly.
    My query is, why have 3 categories been taken from woocommerce but none of the others and how comes all products in Zettle are uncategorised.

    I’m sorry to tell you that this has not been developed yet. This is in the list of new features and would be decided by the plugin owners (not developers and supporters) if such new functionality would be developed.

    Sorry for this response, but we simply don’t know if or when this will be developed.
