Category name to be displayed in the frontend

You can use this filter to change the title on the frontend of any category, posts:

I entered this code in the functions.php file of my theme:

add_filter( 'rank_math/frontend/title', function( $title ) {
	return $title;
});

but I haven’t seen any differences, I don’t know where to set the new “category name” from the frontend.

Here is an example code:

add_filter( 'rank_math/frontend/title', function( $title ) {
   if( is_category( $cat_id ) ) {
        return 'Sport news'
    }
	return $title;
});
