Hi, first I want to thank you for the great plugin. Two weeks all worked fine for me, but suddenly I have got a problem with the Category mapping. I didnt change anything, just update woocommerce, yoast and your plugin. The Category mapping isnt in the feed now. If I look at the feed there is used my woocommerce catagory. If go to Manage feed — Change settings — Category mapping : I can write a google ID (like two weeks before) and get it all green marked. After I choose the save button the feed doesnt change to the correct catagorys. Its still the same: the catagory I use in woocommerce… If I choose now Category mapping again nothing is save… the fields are empty again.
Thank you for your help, Stef

  • Hi rowf,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Just checking: you did map your category to google’s g:google_product_category field on the attribute mapping page? Like this:

On the category mapping page itself you start typing in it and it would auto-suggest the correct categories to you. You need to select a full one (so not just put in the numbers yourself).

Did you do both of the above?

    All the best,
    Eva

    Good morning Eva,
thank you for your answer. I find the problem… I wrote the correct catagory in but in German. I did it again with just selecting the autosuggest one in english and it is saved and visible in the feed now. Thank you for your help, Stef
