category list view with excerpt

    I Need Little help as a beginner..

    I Want to show my category in a widget but it must have 2 option.

    1. in widget the particular category recent post show with post image with excerpt, and

    2. rest of this category posts will be their in a list view…

    Can Any one say how i will do this or which plunging i would like to use !!!
