Category list empty

    Recently (we believe due to 2.9.2) the category lists are returning empty. This is regardless of whether the shortcode being used is [bsk-pdf-manager-list-category id=”31″] or [bsk-pdfm-category-ul id=”31″].
    Is there a solution to this issue? I notice that it appears that a few others are having similar problems. Is there a way to revert to an older version? I see that there is no download in the advanced plugin page, and no earlier versions show in the repository.

  • I had the same problem and eventually restored my site to a prior state of backup as older versions of the plugin do not seem to be available.
    The last test I made, I took a snap-shot backup of the site before trying the ‘fixed’ update which wasn’t completely fixed, so I had to make use of the backup again.

    We’ve made extensive use of category lists to show lists of PDF documentation files. category lists are returning empty is a major issue for us. And changing to the new version of the shortcode will be a bit of work too, have to find every page that lists a category of PDF file.

    Currently, I have notes to the web team NOT to upgrade the bsk plugin. If someone does, none of our safety documentation is available people…

    Please deactivate and re-activate the plugin if you found the issue after you updated to the latest version. DONOT UNINSTALL.

    Please do not use the old shortcodes [bsk-pdf-manager-list-category id=”31″] anymore.
