Category list by custom fields

Hi

According to the help and docu, the plugin shortcode “accepts any of the?category and general?search attributes. as well as $args available to the WordPress get_terms function.” But seems like not, or am i doing something wrong?

The need: i have added custom fields to the categories, and i need to display only the ones, that have this field set to value yes. Tried the below:

[categories_list hide_empty=1 limit=3 meta_query=’array(key=type,value=yes)’][/categories_list]

But it’s not working.

Any idea?
