/category/ isn’t removed from permalink even though it is selected in settings

try to flush your permalinks and clear your cache.

I did, but it’s not working.

Can you take a screenshot of your permalinks settings please?

We have also tested on our local setup with the same permalink settings from your screenshot.

Just to be clear: we only removed the /category/ from post categories urls (not single post).

If after flushing your permalinks, it still doesn’t work, try to disable all your plugins except SEOPress and reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.

Okay, so I am talking abou the ‘category base’ tag. Are you talking about that too, or does the plugin remove another category?
