    I have used the plugin to upload posts and it works perfectly. The images work as expected.

    My approach was to upload the images to the main image folder in wordpress, then refer to this as a full url in my import file (selecting the external url option)

    Unfortunately this does not work for category images. I follow the same process but images are not loaded to category level. Could anyone explain why this doesn’t work in this case please?

    Post categories are not supported images by default. so you can’t import any images into categories. maybe you are using any specific plugin or theme for images support
