Category Image Size

    HI,
    i have a parent category with 4 subcategories. On my parent i have set the display type option to “subcategories”.

    I have uploaded images for each subcategory. And i have changed my theme to display the images in 1 column.

    But the images are loaded in a way to small size. Never mind what size i define in my customizer setting for woo images nothing works.

    I have regenerated thumbnails etc.

    where is the image size defined ? Where in the code is defined when woo loads a different size ?

    Hi there,

    Image/thumbnail sizes are generally set by the active theme. The theme also generally determines how categories/images/products/etc are displayed on archive pages.

    I had a look into the code of my theme and changed my function file to get the perfect result.

    Hi there,

    I’m glad to hear you were able to get things working the way you want! : )

    Just as a note, when changing the functions.php file in a theme, it’s best to make changes in a child theme to make sure the changes are not lost when updating.
