category id

When I use category_id in the code, the whole slider disapears.
example: [easy_slider category_id=547 limit=3]
And yes I have checked several times to make sure I had the right id and yes there are posts in it. Cna you please tell me how to fix this? Is it because my post category has like 3 chracters or something (perhaps a programming issue that didn’t take length into account)?
