Hello I am using the lite version. I was wondering if it was possible to include the category name included in the email that goes to admin.

Take the following page for example:

    https://gogadgetrepairs.com/repairs/iphone-repair/

if you click into each device page, there is a booking form with a unique category. I want to see that category of the booking form used in my admin email.
How do I do this? Thanks in advance!

    Hello Harry,

Please, insert the #category_names placeholder in your admin message (Webba settings page – Email notifications – Message to an administrator ). Note, this feature was added in the last version of Webba booking, so keep webba updated.

great thanks. I did that however now the admin email is listing all of the categories.

Here is how it’s coming through:

Category: iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone SE, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad Pro 9.7, iPad Pro 12.7, iPad Pro 10.5, iPad Mini 4, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 1

This was through a booking form from the “iPhone 7” category.

Any idea why it’s doing this? Thanks!

#category_names placeholder shows all categories to which the booked service belongs. Please, clarify your service attached to one or many categories?

I see. I was hoping to be able to just know which form the submission came from.

If the category_names placeholder will show all categories to which the booked service belongs, that would mean I would have to create a set of services unique to each category.(which I’m trying to avoid doing)

    For example:
    I have categories such as:
    iPhone 7 repair
    iphone 6 repair

Then I have services for those categories (that are all the same) for example:
    Battery repair
    Screen repair
(the same type of service for different categories)

So instead of creating “battery repair” for each individual category, i was wondering if there was a way to just know which form was used to submit the booking?

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks again!

We will include the single category placeholder in the next release. This placeholder will check the current category of the form and add in the message. The new version will be published next week.

Great, thanks for the prompt support. I’ll be standing by for the next release.

    Hi,

We included #current_category_name placeholder in the last (3.2.17) version. You can use this placeholder in your admin’s email to show the name of the category that was used in the current booking page.
