Category error

  • Hello All,

    Am new to WordPress and this site, so please bear with me if my question sounds silly. The issue am having is that when I try to create a new category after installing WordPress, I get this error:

    Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /public_html/mysite.com/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-terms-list-table.php on line 263

    Please can anyone help with this? Thanks to all in advance.
