Category description isn’t displayed

    I just want to show category descriptions under category names. I checked “Show Category Description” in the “Library Settings” – “Categories” page. But, category descriptions aren’t displayed.
    I reviewed the .php files and the variable $showcategorydesclinks in the render-link-library-sc.php file doesn’t seem to be set. I set it to “true”, category descriptions are displayed.

    There are two options called “Show Category Description”. The first is the one that you checked under the Categories tab of the library configuration. The purpose of this variable is to display category description when you display categories with the [link-library-cats] shortcode.

    The second instance of the Show Category Description is found in the Links tab of library configuration. That is the one that will display the description along with the category when you display links with the [link-library] and this is the one that will set the $showcategorydesclinks variable in the render-link-library-sc.php file.

    Please confirm that this works for you.

    Thank you for your detailed explanation. I checked the option in the Links tab and it works fine!
