Category control in P2

  • Howdy
    I’d like to know if it is possible to control the Category used by P2. Specifically I would like to:

    i) Only display posts from one specific category for the P2 theme
    ii) Foce posts written through the P2 front-end to be written to one specific category

    (All of the other categories and posts in my blog will be using a different template, hence my need to do the above!)

    Any hints on how I can achieve this are greatly appreciated!

  • P2 attempts to post to your default category (uncategorized) unless you’ve changed it. So simply renaming that to your desired category name should fix the issue I imagine. Personly, I’ve implemented a solution I found here in the forums that allows users to select what category they want to post to.
