Category colors not showing in general month view page

    Dear Masters of the Category Color Plugin,

    I installed Your plugin few days ago and sadly are not able to make it work properly. The Plugin works well and is installed on the Events Settings Tab, hence I can change the colors of all available categories. The categories show up with the right color on mini-widget type month calender views that are found on static pages, but not on the main event page, where all the events are shown together and where the general calender is to be found (link attached). Even though I turn the color to “transparent” in the Divi settings, it seems like the Divi settings still have the win over the power of changing the color from the category color plugin. Any help would be greatly appreciated on how to fix this ??

    Thank you for reaching out.
    I am sorry to hear the category colors are not displaying as expected.

    From what I can tell, your main event page is displayed using the awesome Divi Events Calendar plugin.

    The category colors plugin is currently designed to work with The Events Calendar plugin without that extra layer. In fact, you can see that for yourself if you temporarily deactivate Divi Events Calendar.

    I would recommend that you reach out to the PeeAye creative team to see if they have some extension or snippet that increases integration between their plugin and this one.

    That said (you didn’t hear this from me), the word on the street is that the good folks at The Events Calendar are considering merging events category colors in one of their plugins. Stay tuned!
